When is the After Everything release date?

It has been confirmed that After Everything will come out in theatres on the 13th and 14th September 2023.

This release date is just for 'the US and select countries', so it's not clear whether these dates apply for the UK too.

We'll update this page as soon as a UK release date is announced.

After Everything's first teasers are finally here and it has us so excited to see what happens next with Hardin and Tessa!

The movie's official Twitter revealed that UK fans would receive a surprise about the new film in the screening of Beautiful Disaster starring Dylan Sprouse, revealing: "UK After Fam!! There’s an #AfterEverything surprise for you after your #BeautifulDisaster screenings. Watch it only in UK cinemas April 4."

It didn't take long for fans to rush to the cinemas to watch Beautiful Disaster starring Dylan Sprouse and Virginia Gardner, and they were treated to a teaser from the upcoming After movie.

The brief clip, which has since been shared online, shows a glimpse at Hardin and Tessa's wedding as the pair get ready for their big day - however, fans were quick to point out that the couple never got married in the books - so what actually happens in the movie remains to be seen.

This comes after we were treated to the first look on December 23 last year, with the movie's official Twitter account sharing it on the platform as a 'first look'.

Another teaser was dropped on Valentine's Day 2023, showing a glimpse at Hardin and Tessa's on-off romance.

Meanwhile, a full trailer was released on May 1st, showing Hardin heading out to Lisbon, Portugal to find Tessa and make things work one last time.

The latest teaser dropped in August and showed a glimpse of Hardin admitting he's 'not ready to move on' from Tessa and is determined to win her back.

Who’s in the After Everything cast?

Much to fans’ surprise, it looks like Hero Fiennes Tiffin and Josephine Langford will be reprising their roles as Hardin Scott and Tessa Young in After Everything after the movie’s official Instagram account tagged them both in the announcement!

What happens in After Everything?

Not much is known about the plot of After Everything just yet since fans were expecting the fifth movie instalment in the Afterverse to be about the prequel book Before, which focused on Hardin’s life before he met Tessa.

However, we can expect After Everything to be a continuation of what happens at the end of After Ever Happy.

Judging by the first trailer, we can see Hardin struggling to write a follow-up manuscript to his first novel 'After', and he books a trip to Lisbon in Portugal to clear his head.

Much is left to the imagination after as we're yet to see any other key characters appear in the teaser, apart from his mother at the start
