Jamie Dornan unequivocally rejects preposterous fan theories surrounding any romantic involvement with Dakota Johnson

Romance rumors between Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson have circulated since the Fifty Shades of Grey franchise hit the big screen. However, the 39-year-old actor has labeled the speculation about a relationship with his co-star as "absurd," even addressing theories about them having children together.

Dornan, who portrayed Christian Grey alongside Johnson's Anastasia Steele in the film trilogy, spoke about these theories on The Jonathan Ross Show. He humorously mentioned already having three daughters with his wife, singer-songwriter Amelia Warner, stating that he has enough children to deal with.

Reflecting on his diverse career, Dornan described Fifty Shades as a unique experience, emphasizing that it was a "one-off" role. Despite its impact on his career, he admitted feeling relieved when Charlie Hunnam was initially cast as Christian Grey. However, when Hunnam dropped out, Dornan ultimately secured the role.

Addressing the persistent fan theories, Dornan stated, "There's a lot of absurd fan theories about that world and those characters and that Dakota Johnson and I have children together." He added humorously, "I don't know where we keep them. I've got three of my own kids to worry about."

In the interview, Dornan also shared memories of living with fellow actor Eddie Redmayne early in their careers. Despite friendly competition while auditioning for similar roles, the two supported each other, wishing luck and offering encouragement.

Dornan's latest project is Kenneth Branagh’s Belfast, a heartfelt film set in Northern Ireland during the late 1960s. The movie narrates the story of a working-class family and their young son amidst increasing conflict, with Dornan playing the role of Buddy's father opposite Caitriona Balfe as his mother and Dame Judi Dench as his grandmother.
