In a recent interview, Jamie Dornan, the 41-year-old Belfast native, emotionally paid tribute to his wife, Amelia Warner. Married since 2013, the couple shares three daughters – Dulcie, Elva, and Alberta. Jamie's heartfelt expressions took center stage on a recent episode of BBC Radio 4's Desert Island Discs, leading to a viral moment that captivated fans.

As the interview drew to a close, host Lauren posed a poignant question: "Which one tr7ack of the eight you have shared with us today would you rush to save from the waves?" Jamie's response was deeply personal, selecting "Forever" by the Beach Boys because of its sentimental connection to his wife.

With teary eyes and a cracking voice, Jamie elaborated, stating, "The one thing I would need to get me through is the thought of my wife and everything that she has given me and our family."

Recounting the moment when his father, Jim, who tragically passed away in 2021, disclosed his mother's cancer diagnosis at the age of 14, Jamie shared, "I am sort of thankful it was told to me straight like that. It’s a funny thing."

Expressing a sense of guilt about the gaps in his memories of his mother, Jamie acknowledged the unexpected nature of such losses. He recalled his father's impactful words during that challenging time: "You can’t let this be the thing that defines us." Jamie expressed gratitude for his father's perspective, interpreting it as approval to find happiness in their future despite the profound loss.
